"40 Under 40 Most Influential African Americans in Piedmont"
I would like to congratulate the Black Business Ink 40 Under 40 Most Influential African Americans in the Piedmont Triad. This is the inaugural list of honorees selected by Black Business Ink magazine. Each person was nominated by someone who was impressed by their character, competence and professional promise. Two selection committees – one in Guilford and one in Forsyth – considered dozens of candidates before making their final choices. The selection panels had a challenging job in limiting the number of honorees from each county to twenty; however, the final list is a superb assemblage of deserving young professionals.

These outstanding leaders are confident, ambitious and achievement-oriented. They help build their community, seek new challenges at work, and aren’t afraid to question authority. They should serve as a model for us all to emulate.

On Saturday evening, February 22, there will be an awards gala to honor these 40 outstanding business and community leaders at 7 p.m. at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
